Corporates have realized there is a real Need for Innovation in their markets. Innovation and Digital Transformation Strategies are defined but there is a need to bring down detailed activities to execute the strategy. In terms of innovation activities, they have undefined Team Roles (technical) and have needs for HR Development. The Organizational Structure for Innovation needs to be re-defined and the Assigned Budget might be insufficient.
Companies have planned and executed several Innovation Initiatives including an Innovation team of less than 10 members. Strategies and activities are well defined but might need some adjustments to better Align them with the market needs (customers and/or competition) and companies’ global mission. Corporate Innovation Hub is under development with less than 10 companies. APIs and Digital Hub are under the planning process or being built. Innovation and Development area inside of the company counts with more than 30 dedicated team members. Tech-Scouting activities are being covered in-house but a Global Perspective and Insights are needed. Activities, needs and challenges are well organized when identified by Business Units, but might need some support with the Unexplored Needs. Innovation Management Tools are implemented and corporate might count with an Investment arm. Innovation Hub is structured with more than 30 companies and the Digital Hub and API development is running and looking to be optimized. Innovation department is looking to expand Innovation Culture within the company including Intrapreneurship Programs
